Sports Excellence Awards
Bromley Korfball Club is extremely proud that eight of its Under 13 squad received Sports Excellence Awards for playing Korfball for their county. The awards were made at the prestigious Bromley Schools' Achievement in Sports Awards on Friday the 14th May at the Civic Centre in Bromley. The players received their awards from Allan Williams former Olympic Champion pole vaulter, they were among 360 young people from the borough who were recognised for their sporting excellence. Well done guys the club is very proud of your acheivement!

Each year the English Korfball Association runs the biggest Korfball youth event outside the Netherlands the National Youth Day. Every year the event is hosted in different region, this helps promote Korfball in that particular region. This year the event is coming to London and even better it coming to Bromley, Sparrow's Den, Corkscrew Hill. West Wickham. Kent BR4 9BB (click on link for location on Google maps) http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en-GB&ie=UTF-8&tab=wl This venue has good parking, a clubhouse with toilets and a club house and is a short hop from West Wickham High Street.
The event is very family oriented and caters for children under 9 to under 19yrs. Teams are welcomed from clubs and schools and Bromley Korfball Club hope to field club teams and are strongly encouraging local schools who have tried Korfball to enter teams. Click here for more information >
